UFile costs only $15.95 (plus tax) for an individual. If you add a spouse to your file, the total cost will increase by $9.00 to a total of $24.95 plus applicable sales tax.

Unlike other online tax software products, UFile does not charge for dependents. For example, if you are preparing a return for a parent or child who is dependent on you, you will not be charged extra for their return. The maximum you will pay for a family (including a spouse) in a single UFile account (represented by a user ID), is $24.95.

Remember, you may try UFile for FREE and will only be asked to pay if you are completely satisfied and if your family's total income* exceeds $20,000.

*Total income is the amount appearing on line 150 of your tax return.
